Wow what a day. Great nights sleep, the hotel was very comfortable with great amenities, including a warm seated toilet/bidet with very complicated instructions. We had breakfast at the airport - maccas. Checked out around 11am and proceeded to buy our ferry tickets. Everything went well, Japanese very efficient. We had a bus to the ferry terminal and then a 30 min ride to Kobe airport. From there we had to purchase train tickets to go from the airport to the cruise terminal. The train took about 15 mins and stopped at a station right next to our ship. I have to give credit to Ann for suggesting this route - it turned out to be easy with no stress.
We got our assigned mini suite which is mid ships, a perfect position. Can't believe the size of the room, the bath is full size, another complicated toilet/bidet, the balcony area is larger we have sitting area as well. Plenty of hanging and storage space. The weather is very warm, clear skies and high 20s.
Time for a pre dinner drink. The ship is quite larger, but similar in lay out. Leave port tomorrow at 4am.
