Busan Sth Korea

Another perfect morning. Calm seas, light winds, sunny and mid 20s. We are cruising through the Kanmon Straits on our way to Busan. The straits are a very busy waterway, with lots of cargo ships. After we pass through we are in the Japan Sea on our way to Busan.

We have a lovely sunny morning reading out on the upper decks. We reach Busan just after 3 pm.
We go to happy hour to decide whether to go ashore. The departure process seems a shambles. After happy hour we decide to go. We are supposed to go through immigration, but are waved through the. There is a shuttle bus to the city, it is about a 20 mins drive. We reach the drop off at 5 which is at the markets. We walk around for 90 mins and see the major sights including an underground bunker - oops no it was a shopping centre. We get back to the shuttle at 6.30 and we are back onboard at7. Busan is a huge port with containers everywhere, it is a very busy city. There are lots of hyundais and Kia's driving around. We depart Busan at 10.30 and head for Nagasaki.
