Homeward bound

It has finally arrived, the last day in Japan. We are up early and it is raining! Have breakfast say goodbye to Kari who was fantastic. We get on our pick up and it is a 50 min drive to the airport. For all but 5 mins we are on an elevated roadway. The Japanese love their elevated roadways. The airport is on reclaimed land and is an island. There is a 4km long bridge to drive across.

Japan has been great. They are such a friendly and respectful people. The cities are very clean, no graffiti, and great public transport. We have been really lucky with the weather. It has rained all the way to the airport and is still raining as I write this.
